KPMG AB is the auditor for LKAB, with Helena Arvidsson Älgne as the principal auditor.
On behalf of the owner, the auditor independently reviews the management by the Board and the President, as well as the company's Annual Report and accounts. The auditor's assignment also includes a general review of an interim report as well as reviewing the company's sustainability reporting.
The auditor is selected by the AGM. Auditors of state-owned companies are appointed for a term of one year. In the event the re-election of an auditor is being considered, the auditor's work is always evaluated by the owner.
