Jan Moström has been the President and CEO of LKAB since 2015.
The President is responsible for day-to-day administration according to the Swedish Companies Act. The President's general responsibility is set out in the instructions for the President and the Board's rules of procedure.
LKAB's operations are divided into two business areas: Iron Ore and Special Products. Business area Iron Ore comprises the mines, processing plants an logistics in Kiruna, Svappavaara and Malmberget. The business area Special Products comprises LKAB Minerals, which produces and sells industrial minerals, the drilling technology company LKAB Wassara as well as LKAB Berg och Betong, LKAB Kimit and LKAB Mekaniska.
There are various Group functions to support the divisions, in the form of Finance, HR and Sustainability, Market and Technology, Communication and Climate, as well as Urban Transformation.
