As LKAB is not listed on the stock market, its operations are financed through its own cash flow and external loans, above all corporate bonds.
Since 5 December 2014, LKAB has had financial instruments listed for trading on NASDAQ Stockholm. The LKAB Group has credit facilities totalling SEK 5.5 billion.
In addition, LKAB has several borrowing programmes, both MTM programmes and commercial paper programmes, which provide a good level of preparedness for temporary fluctuations in the Group's funding needs in the short term, as well as ensuring financing in the long term.
The Group's borrowing is handled centrally by LKAB Treasury Center with the aim of ensuring efficiency and the co-ordination of the Group's financing needs, as well as managing the Group's refinancing risk centrally.
